Chipotle and Panera Bread Planned For Vets Highway Plot in Islandia
A new construction project on a 2-acre plot of land at 1900 Veterans Memorial Highway will be built out for Chipotle Mexican Grill and Panera Bread, according to a story in Long Island Business News. The property is next to the Walgreen and Wal-Mart on Vets Highway. Both restaurants will have drive-thrus.
A “Coming Soon” sign was spotted on the site of the development.
A company affiliated with Breslin Realty is developing the project, a 9,200-sq-foot building, according to the Breslin website.
