Inferno the Restaurant Owner Says He Will Be Back After Renovation Setback

People have been asking online about Inferno the Restaurant, wondering if it was closed for good or was just under renovations. No word was forthcoming about the local spot’s fate, until now.

Patrick Trovato, the owner of Inferno the Restaurant in Sound Beach promises that his roadside restaurant will be back in business. After a need for renovations, Trovato told LongIslandRestaurants.com in an exclusive interview that he ran into some difficulties with his contractor that prevented him from reopening as quickly as he would have liked but he is planning to come back stronger than before.

“There are forces in play that are beyond my control right now,” Trovato said. ‘But when I’m ready, we’re going to announce a grand re-opening.”

Worried patrons have been frantically scouring social media for a clue as to what is going on with the popular restaurant, known in the area for its honkey tonk vibe and hearty comfort food.

Despite being stuck with some extra costs, among other difficulties, Trovato wanted to make sure people knew that he would reopen.

“Rest assured, Inferno is not going anywhere!” he said.

No opening date is set as of now, but we will continue to monitor the situation at Inferno the Restaurant and update readers when the spot will begin serving the community again.

Inferno the Restaurant is located at 245 Echo Avenue in Sound Beach.
