Pollo Campero Brings Flavor to Huntington with New Location

Pollo Campero, the popular global quick-service restaurant chain, is opening a new spot in Huntington this summer, taking over the former Dairy Queen location at 321 West Jericho Turnpike. The 3,600-square-foot space, which includes a drive-thru, is undergoing major renovations to create a welcoming space for fans of the beloved chicken brand.

This new restaurant will be the chain’s seventh Long Island location, joining the ranks of existing spots in Bay Shore, Central Islip, Hempstead, Huntington Station, Lawrence, and Merrick. Pollo Campero has quickly become a favorite for many local residents, with its diverse menu featuring fried chicken, sandwiches, bowls, and a variety of flavorful sides like macaroni and cheese, Yuca fries, and sweet plantains.

“We’re excited to bring the Pollo Campero experience to more Long Island residents,” said Ryan Feldman, the broker representing the chain for Long Island, Brooklyn, and Queens in an article on Long Island Business News.

The new location will add to Pollo Campero’s growing presence on Long Island. After opening its most recent restaurant in Merrick last November, the chain has seen solid success in other areas, including Central Islip and Bay Shore. With nearly 400 locations worldwide, Pollo Campero has earned a reputation as the “Central American Chick-fil-A,” offering fresh and flavorful meals in a fast-casual setting.

If you’re craving a delicious, unique twist on classic fast food, the new Huntington spot is set to be your next go-to spot! Stay tuned for the grand opening this summer, and get ready to dig into some of the best chicken and sides around.
