Smoke Shack BBQ Opens Second Location in Center Moriches
Smoke Shack BBQ has expanded to a second location after only about a year and a half at their first brick-and-mortar spot in Mastic Beach. The former food truck was launched by Brandon Cahill and his father Mike back in 2017.
The father and son team have barbecue sauce flowing through their veins. According to their website, Mike grew up learning and working in his family’s butcher shop and son Brandon studied the culinary arts and worked for his late uncle, Charlie Cohan, in his food truck at Riverhead Raceway among other places.

Now, Mike and Brandon are growing their restaurant business once again, this time to Center Moriches at 792 Montauk Highway. They had a grand opening on Monday at 11am.
