Toast Opens its Newest Location at Station Yards in Ronkonkoma

Toast Coffee + Kitchen has officially opened its newest location at Station Yards, bringing its signature breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept to Ronkonkoma’s growing destination. The café held its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, August 1st, becoming the fifth Long Island location for the beloved brand.

Strategically located just steps from the Ronkonkoma LIRR station and steps from the lively Village Green courtyard, Toast joins a dynamic lineup of eateries at Station Yards, including VESPA Italian Kitchen & Cocktails, Lucharitos, The Pink Fin, Great South Bay Brewery, and Tap Room. But as with every Toast location, this one carries its own unique theme and story rooted deeply in personal history and local character.

“We’re incredibly grateful and excited to bring our vision of Toast in an old vintage train depot to life at Station Yards. I grew up a few blocks from this location,” said Terry Scarlatos, owner of Toast Coffee + Kitchen. “So it has been an amazing opportunity to be part of this from the ground up!” The decor embodies the spirit of adventure, paired with Toast’s award-winning brunch menu, artisan coffee, handcrafted espresso drinks, and brunch cocktails.

TRITEC Real Estate Company, the developer behind Station Yards, sees Toast’s arrival as another key milestone in building a vibrant, connected community. “Toast represents exactly what we hoped for at Station Yards: a place that feels personal, rooted, and special,” said Jimmy Coughlan, Executive Vice President at TRITEC Real Estate Company. Terry’s story, the thoughtfulness of the space, and the way the restaurant reflects both local pride and a broader journey, it all adds so much to what we are creating here.”

The opening was also celebrated by local business leaders and community members. Ed McNamara, President of the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce, remarked, “Toast is the kind of place that makes a neighborhood feel complete. It’s welcoming, beautifully designed, and already buzzing with life. We’re thrilled to see businesses like Toast choosing Ronkonkoma as it speaks volumes about what’s happening here at Station Yards.”

The Ronkonkoma location follows four unique Toast outposts across Long Island: Steampunk-themed Patchogue, Prohibition-era Long Beach, farmhouse chic in Port Jefferson Station, and carnival flair in Bay Shore. With this fifth café, Toast continues to expand not just as a restaurant group, but as a storyteller brand, offering more than just a meal, but a thoughtful experience that connects people through place and design.
