Fat Boy’s Burrito Opens in East Northport
First opening in Bellmore a few years ago, the owners of Fat Boy’s Burrito ventured out to Suffolk County for their second location. Serving up burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, and street corn, the Tex-Mex shop offers delicious food quickly.
In February, the owners told GreaterLongIsland.com that they strive for personalized service that is delivered fast.
“You will be greeted when you walk in, you will be checked on while you’re eating,” owner Tony Othman told GreaterLongIsland. “We will bring you your containers, we will grab your tray. It’s nice to go to an establishment where you don’t feel obligated to leave a 20 or 30 percent tip.”
Othman owns Fat Boy’s Burrito with his brother, Sam.
On Google, a reviewer named May flower gave the Tex-Mex joint five stars.
“First let me just say.. I am not someone who ever writes reviews. But this place & the owner himself left me speechless,” May flower wrote. “The service was amazing, from the girl who took our order, to another girl who gave us our food, to the very end. The owner’s name is Tony! He is an absolute pleasure too meet. Very kind, accommodating, sweet & almost felt like I was ready to submit an application to him. The food is delicious, super fulfilling & honestly you’re getting a lot more than you’re paying for.”
Joanna Campo agreed.
“I went on their first opening day and considering how busy packed they were, it was still friendly, attentive service as best as possible and the food was well worth waiting for,” she wrote. “When you expect fresh, you expect a bit of a wait!”
