Bagel Boss Seeks to Be King in North Carolina With New Franchise

A bagel and schmear moves south to North Carolina with a new franchisee. Long Island’s Bagel Boss is expanding across the country and its latest move is to King’s Crossing Market Center at 152 Kingscote Way in King, North Carolina.

The store marks the brand’s first venture into North Carolina.

Andrew Hazen, CEO of Bagel Boss, said that he’s thrilled to bring real Long Island bagels to North Carolina for the first time, calling the move a “significant milestone” for his company.

“Our bagels have been a staple in New York for over four decades, and we’re excited to offer our award-winning flavors and products to new and old fans in the South,” he said.

The new franchise behind the new Bagel Boss location in North Carolina is Joseph Ianucilli who said he’s excited to bring the authentic taste of Long Island bagels to King.

“Our goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where families and friends can enjoy the best bagels and gourmet offerings around,” he said.

The new Bagel Boss location in King, North Carolina, is set to open later in 2024 and will feature the brand’s full range of award-winning bagels, gourmet spreads and salads, smoked fish, and bakery items. Bagel Boss says it has 18 locations across New York, Florida and California already.
