Both Carrabba’s Locations on Long Island Close Down

Both the Smithtown and Central Islip locations of Carrabba’s have shut their doors as of Friday night, an employee who answered the phone at the Smithtown restaurant confirmed.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill is a chain restaurant that features an Italian-American menu, owned and operated by Bloomin’ Brands, the corporation that also owns Bonefish Grill and Outback Steakhouse.

No reason was given for the closure and the person at the restaurant said that the corporation had shut down both places effective immediately. Patrons who were in the restaurant on Friday night also confirmed the news.

The two locations were located at 20 N Research Place in Central Islip and 730 Smithtown Bypass in Smithtown.
