Burgerology Closing Patchogue Location

Burgerology, with eight locations across Long Island and New York City, will have one fewer. The restaurant announced via social media that it will close its Patchogue spot.

“We want to thank everyone for their loyalty & patronage at our Patchogue location,” the company announced on Instagram on Monday. “After four years we have made the decision not to renew our lease at this location.”

The Patchogue location of Burgerology started out in town as a pop-up restaurant and moved into the former home of  Sneaky Pete’s. The location was inside of Stereo Garden located at 11 Railroad Avenue.

Burgerology is a popular craft burger restaurant that has been expanding all across Long Island over the last few years.

The burger and shake place offers scientific sounding burger creations like their Atomic topped with bacon, pepper jack cheese, sauteed jalapeños, chipotle aioli on a torta bun. Or the Electron with a bacon-infused signature blend, bacon, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, house sauce.

Also known for their shakes, Burgerology has some crazy creations including their Green Gravity, homemade mint ice cream, fudge brownie chunks, chocolate syrup and whipped cream, coated with chocolate sprinkles. There’s also the Cookie Donut, with vanilla ice cream mixed with homemade cookie dough pieces and glazed doughnut chunks, topped with chocolate syrup, coated with cookie crisp.
