Buttermilk’s Kitchen Eyeing Bay Shore For Second Location
Breakfast and lunch spot first opened in Patchogue in 2018.
Buttermilk’s Kitchen, the breakfast and lunch place in Patchogue serving farmhouse meals in a traditional lunchonette setting, is looking toward Bay Shore for its next spot. According to a story in Greater Bay Shore, the Islip Town Planning Board has approved the owners’ application “for a special permit for a 78-seat Buttermilk’s Kitchen on East Main Street near Second Avenue, on the north side.”
The restaurant at 93 E. Main Street will be a 3,200-sq-ft space with 78 seats, according to a story in Patch. The site is currently vacant.
A description of the site on loopnet.com calls it a “beautifully renovated historic building” built in 1910.
