Craft Kitchen & Tap House Opening in Old Honu Spot in Huntington
The owners of Honu at 363 New York Avenue in Huntington closed up the restaurant earlier this year with a promise that something new and exciting was coming to replace it. Today it was announced on Instagram that the new spot will be Craft Kitchen & Tap House.
Craft Kitchen & Tap House already has two locations on Long Island, one in Wantagh and another in Lynbrook. The websites for both locations have banners saying that the Huntington location will be opening soon.
Online, the restaurant advertises that they are hiring for all positions and people can apply in-person or at [email protected]. They will be holding their first round of interviews at the Wantagh location on tuesday, October 3rd and Thursday, October 5th from 3-7pm next week.
When Long Island Restaurants made a call to Honu a few weeks ago, co-owner Tom McNicholas said that they were not ready to reveal what was next at the spot and said co-owner Anthony Geraci handled PR for their restaurants. Geraci and McNicholas both are primary owners of both other Craft Kitchen & Tap House locations.
