Empanada Mama Opens First Long Island Location in Huntington Station
Empanada Mama, a New York City empanada spot, has opened its first location on Long Island in Huntington Station. The restaurant is having its grand opening on Sunday, January 14th in the best way ever: offering free empanadas from noon until 4pm!
The empanada restaurant has four locations in Manhattan in Hell’s Kitchen, Times Square, the Lower East Side and the East Village. Taking up residence at 281 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station, this is Empanada Mama’s first foray on Long Island in the same building as Dunkin Donuts and Nathans. There was formerly another empanada spot in the same place called Pappitos Empanadas and Toxic Wings is still in the same building.
