Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani Visits Se-port Deli in Setauket, Records Instagram Video
Politician, prosecutor, and now deli promoter. Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, was spotted at the Se-port Deli in Setauket recently and obliged by recording a video to promote the legendary local deli posted to Instagram.
“Rudolph William Louis #Giuliani is an American politician and lawyer who served as the 107th #mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001. He previously served as the United States Associate #Attorney General from 1981 to 1983 and the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York from 1983 to 1989,” the deli’s Instagram account wrote to go along with the video.
Giuliani sits at a table in the restaurant and introduces the deli as historic.
“This deli is one of a kind,” he says. “The sandwiches are gigantic… this isn’t a sandwich, this is a meal.”
He then says his sandwiches of choice that day were the Dagwood and the Gasm.
The former mayor also said that the deli has the best iced tea in a separate video.
The video – which you can watch below – has already gotten thousands of views since it was posted a week ago.
