Goldberg’s Famous Bagels Opening New Food Court Concept in Water Mill This Fall
If you travel the East End of Long Island whether you’re a Northforker or a Hamptonite you might spend your Sunday morning in line at one of several bagel stores owned by Marc Goldberg from Riverhead to Greenport and East Quogue to Montauk, Goldberg’s Famous Bagels is the place to be for your breaded breakfast.
It has been a busy couple of years for Goldberg, who closed on a property in Sag Harbor last year, taking over the old Bay Burger spot with business partner Paul Wayne, and in Wainscott when they bought the former Breadzilla location.
Now, Goldberg is moving into Water Mill with what a recent announcement called “a new and dynamic food concept” in a 4,100-square-foot space in Water Mill Village (formally known as “The Mill”). The restaurant is set to open Fall 2023.
The site is located within the retail complex that was purchased earlier this year by Robert Zecher of Vault Development Partners in conjunction with the owner of the Water Mill Square, Benjamin Rinzler.
The new restaurant will offer a twist on the traditional Goldberg’s bagel shops, transforming it into a food court offering “a diverse array of culinary delights,” according to a press release.
“From delectable bagels and mouthwatering pizza to an extended deli selection and irresistible ice cream, the food court will provide an all-day variety of food choices to satisfy every palate,” it went on to say.
The Water Mill Village complex, situated on Route 27 East, features a sprawling 3.64-acre property with parking for 154 vehicles, including Tesla charging stations.
