New Italian Restaurant Opening in Bridgehampton Promises “Old School” Fare With a 90’s Hip Hop Edge

A new Italian restaurant is opening in Bridgehampton at 203 Bridgehampton Sag Harbor Turnpike called Arthur & Sons. Launched by Joe Isidori, a Michelin star chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and co-founder and co-creator of popular restaurant franchise Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers his new spot will be an homage in both menu and design to his experience growing up in New York’s restaurant industry.

This will be  a sister restaurant to their New York City location at 38 8th Avenue in the West Village. The Bridgehampton location is the former home of Fresh Hamptons and before that it was Wild Rose Café.

According to an article in Behind the Hedges, the locations came back to the market after the season in 2023 with an asking price of $3.95 million, listed exclusively with Hamptons Compass Commercial.

“The restaurant will feature a rustic vibe, with a 90’s hip hop edge and a menu that transports guests back to the 1990’s with “old school” Italian American red sauce classics,” according to a press release.

Isidori says that the Hamptons have been like a second home for him.

“I spent many of my early years of my career working in the Hamptons,” he said in the statement. “I have always had a true love and passion for all things out east, so it’s nice to bring a piece of my personal heritage to the community for all to experience.”
