Owner of Burgerology to Open New Greek Fast-Casual Restaurant in Syosset

The owner of Burgerology, the popular chain of burger joints across Long Island and with locations in New York City, is partnering up with another longtime restaurateur to bring a fast-casual Greek food restaurant to Syosset called The Greek Eats & Sweets.

Eddie Galatoulas, who launched Burgerology in 2016, and George Ntourmas, who has opened and worked at a number of pizzerias in his career, put together the new restaurant in a space that was once home to a smaller, takeaway version of Burgerology (called Burgerology Express) that closed down. That spot at 408 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset is set to be the new The Greek Eats & Sweets.

Not much is known about the menu yet (except for the obvious Mediterranean style of food offerings) and the website is sparse right now. From images it looks like they will offer gyros and souvlaki.

They are offering some cool swag for sale soon and they will offer eat-in, carry out and delivery. Hours will be 11am – 9pm daily, except Sunday when they are closed.

To follow updates you can follow them on Instagram, Facebook or check the website.

We put a call into the owners and will update this story with more information once it becomes available.

Correction: An earlier version of this story had the names of the owners swapped. That has been corrected.
