OVERVIEW
If you’re in the mood for traditional Spanish tapas then head on over to Villa Lobos, which opened this summer in Freeport.
The menu has a cascading list of tapas – small shareable plates – to choose from including Aceitunas Marinadas, olives in olive oil infused with fennel seed, red pepper, garlic, and orange, with ricotta and served with toasted bread ($7), Calamares Fritos, lightly fried crispy squid served with a house made aioli and lemon ($14), Chorizo Al Vino, sautéed chorizo sausage with wine, black pepper, and parsley ($13), Ensalada Mixta, mixed greens tossed with toasted pine nuts, raisins, and a sherry vinaigrette, topped with shaved manchego ($10), and many, many more.
