Beach Bar Grill at Blu Iguana – Great views while you drink and dine with friends and family on Hempstead Harbor. Location: 494 Prospect Ave, Sea Cliff, (516) 214-0458.
Salt Shack – Fun chill spot that is all beach. Great stopover on the way home from the beach or a destination with friends to see a live show. Location: 100 Cedar Beach Way, Babylon, (631) 422-7222.
John Scott’s Surf Shack – Stop on the way home from Cupsogue. Great fun beach bar with views of the bay in Westhampton. Lots of outdoor seating, with great food, the drinks flow, and a regular slate of live music. Great both for friends looking to party or an ultra-casual family meal. Bodhi’s Beach Shack – Specialty cocktails and oceanside comfort food near Corey Beach in Blue Point. Catch a band while taking in the Great South Bay. Location: 1 Corey Ave, Blue Point.
