Speakeasy-Style Restaurant Joins Station Yards Development Near Ronkonkoma LIRR Station

The massive mixed-use Station Yards project in Ronkonkoma is really cooking! What is being described as a speakeasy-style bar is the latest to announce it will take up a spot in the Tritec Real Estate construction project that incorporates residential apartments along with shopping and restaurant space near the Ronkonkoma LIRR train station.

Artemis is the creation of three established businessmen on Long Island, according to an article in Long Island Business News: Ed Fabian, who owns Billie’s 1890 Saloon in Port Jefferson Village, Brendan Mooney, who runs Fire Island Ferries, and Anthony Vero, president of Aurora Contractors.

“The new bar is designed to be reminiscent of prohibition-era speakeasies of a century ago, where cocktails and conversations were the main entertainment,” LIBN reported.

The new bar joins a number of other restaurants already announced by Tritec Real Estate including Great South Bay Brewery, Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar, Toast Coffee + Kitchen, Lucharitos, The Tap Room, Poki Poke and Redefine Meals.
