With a specially made, four-course menu made for Valentine’s Day, this restaurant is one of the top places to check out on February 14th. “Not only is the service amazing, but the wonderful chefs/owners John and Deborah Urbinati are both professionals in cashiering the Valentine’s Day setting and bringing out the best with their seasonal menu from their specials to the cocktails, ” said Conor Dempsy, Bartender. Their food is produced within a short distance of where it is consumed, making it more fresh. “The Fifth Season” has a harbor view, dim lights, a warm dining room, and lit candles all around the restaurant, creating the perfect cozy and intimate atmosphere for romance.

Bliss

Where: 766 Rte 25A, Setauket- East Setauket, (631) 941-0430

Bliss is an American outlet restaurant that offers the best of both worlds of indoor and outdoor seating, including a happy hour. Their service is up to par with their cocktails and appetizers. Every Friday night you can count on them for live music.“The ambiance is what makes this restaurant perfect for Valentine’s Day. All of our food is homemade from our pasta to desserts, we have an intimate dining area, and for the last 21 years we have been open, we have been located in a neighborhood gem,” said Ronald Hoffman, the owner. If this isn’t enough to convince you to check out Bliss for Valentine’s Day, Bliss was also voted the most romantic restaurant, according to their website.

Suhru Wine

Date: February 12th-15th, 17th-18th Noon to 6pm

Cost: $45 per person

Suhru Wines is hosting a romantic Wine and Cheese pairing experience, specially crafted for Valentine’s Day, from February 12 to 15, and February 17 to 18. For $45 per person, the tasting involves four wines of your choice paired with a selection of cheeses and additional items. Suhru Wines ensures couples, friends, and families will have a memorable experience with its outstanding service and top-notch, award-winning wines. According to their website, Suhru Wine is “spreading the love of wine one bottle at a time.”

Nantuckets

Where: 9 Traders Cove, Port Jefferson, (631) 509-4848.

Nantuckets is a seafood-based restaurant located in Port Jefferson. They have bottomless mimosas and brunch along with outdoor seating, or indoor dining where they serve seafood, vegetarian dishes, and gluten-free options. They have a special menu for Valentine’s Day, featuring unlimited prosecco and a red velvet heart cheesecake. “We’re going to have a set menu of our best-seller dishes which cost about $70 per person. It’s going to be a three-course meal. One of the dessert options will also be a Valentine’s Day-themed heart velvet cake and there will also be a decoration set everywhere,” said Andres Agudelo, Nantucket’s Manager.The restaurant is very warm and welcoming with a wonderful staff, making it a go-to place for date night.

Rothamann’s Steakhouse

Rothmann’s Steakhouse is a Formal Landmark eatery. They will have a special menu dedicated to Valentine’s Day, and they are keeping up with the Valentine’s spirit for the weekend, as the specially made menu full of the chef’s specials will be available from February 14 to 18. “When you come to Rothmans we treat everyday special, whether it’s your birthday, anniversary, or Valentine’s Day; We truly take care of our customers, said John Sherry, Rothman’s general manager.

East Wind Long Island

Date: February 16, 2024

Cost: $125 per person

East Wind Long Island invites you to a Valentine’s Day dinner, dance, and comedy show. On February 16, East Wind Long Island is bringing out comedians John Butera and Mike Keegan for a night filled with love and laughter. A four-course dinner will be served with live DJ music and an open bar. “Be My Valentine Dinner Dance and Comedy Show in the Grand Ballroom at East Wind is the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with loved ones or friends and we’re bringing more to the dance this year” as said on their website.

Kashi Huntington

Where: 12 Elm St, Huntington, (631) 923-1960.

Kashi is a Japanese Restaurant that serves Asian-style foods in their neon set restaurant. “We have been on Long Island for the past 13 years. People come back to us because of our consistency with our service and food. Kashi is perfect for Valentine’s Day whether you want to celebrate it with your friends, a partner, or your family” said Benny, Kashi’s general manager. Kashi is known for their sake and their lively bar scene, making this restaurant one of the best places to check out on Valentine’s Day.
