French-Asian Bakery and Taiwanese Fruit Tea Company Sign Leases at Samanea New York Mall in Westbury
French bakery Tous Les Jours and YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea have signed leases at the Samanea New York Mall (formerly the Mall at the Source) in Westbury, according to a company statement released by the mall owner.
The company says that the two new additions will join others in their Restaurant Row at 1500 Old Country Road in the first half of 2025
Tous Les Jours, which will occupy a 2,611-square-foot space in the mall, is an artisan bakery specializing in French-Asian inspired baked goods. This would be their third location on Long Island after opening last October in Smithtown. Their first store opened in Great Neck earlier last year.
Tous les Jours, meaning “everyday” in French, launched in the United States in 2004. With daily freshly baked bread and a variety of pastry and cakes, the neighborhood bakery also offers handcrafted beverages and bold, flavorful coffee and espresso made with the finest ingredients. To date, Tous les Jours has more than 90 locations across the United States, and more than 1,650 worldwide.
YiFang Taiwan Fruit will occupy 550-square-foot space and will be their first location on Long Island, which is primarily located in Southern California currently. YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea serves authentic Taiwanese teas using organic and freshly sourced ingredients.
YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea was inspired by the founder’s grandmother Yoshiko who used overripe pineapples to make juice that helped her husband tolerate the heat as a farmer. Their teas are made with organic goods and seasonal fruits, which brings out the sweetness of the fruits themselves and brings back the classic, old-fashioned tastes of a traditional Taiwanese childhood.
Dominic Coluccio, director of real estate at Samanea New York said that both brand names are sought-after names in the food world
“In addition to these two new restaurant tenants, we are also looking forward to the grand openings of Ichiddo Ramen and Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao this year,” said Coluccio.
