Hampton Bays Pizzeria, Uncle Joe’s, Continues Its Westward Expansion
Another pizzeria has become a part of the ever-growing Uncle Joe’s pizza empire, one that has seen quick successive acquisitions of pizza places across Suffolk County this year. This time Sal and Alissa Tauriello, owners of Papa Nick’s Pizzeria in Bellport Village, have sold to Uncle Joe’s. Papa Nick’s Pizzeria has been in Bellport Village since 2000.
“As we look back on the past 24 years we are filled with gratitude for the support and friendship you have shown us at Papa Nick’s Pizzeria”, said co-owner Sal Tauriello in a statement. “It has been an incredible journey serving you and we feel truly thankful and blessed for the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful community.”
The Tauriellos plan to permanently relocate to Florida this summer.
Co-owner Alissa Tauriello said she is confident that Uncle Joe’s Famous Pizzeria will uphold their food making and service standards.
“We trust that they will treat you all like family, just as we have strived to do,” said Tauriello.
Led by Scott Gerber and Tana Gerber, Uncle Joe’s Famous Pizzeria will become the new steward of Papa Nick’s Pizzeria effective immediately.

Recently Uncle Joe’s announced it was taking over Fusilli Ristorante in the Aliano Shopping Center at 691 Route 25A Miller Place and Wading River Pizza in the Little Bay Shopping Center also off Route 25A.
