Goody Two Shoes – The Rebranded T.J. Finley’s Public House – Opens in Bay Shore
Bay Shore has a new spot for what the restaurant is calling “vice and vittles” named Goody Two Shoes. The new restaurant replaces T.J. Finley’s Public House at 42 East Main Street.
We reached out to Bibbo Hospitality Group, which owns Goody Two Shoes and a number of other pubs and restaurants on Long Island, including a few in Bay Shore like The Linwood and The Penny Pub. The group also ran T.J. Finley’s. At the time of the writing of this article no one at the company returned our messages.
The online presence of Goody Two Shoes was still evolving with website, Facebook and Instagram when we checked in, all still announcing the restaurant is opening soon. They started accepting applications to work at the restaurant in mid-June.
On June 9th they announced the changeover on Facebook saying, “After 17 years, it’s time for a change at T.J. Finley’s! We’ve been working on something amazing and we can’t wait to show you!”
The plan was to renovate the space and rebrand the restaurant.
Online a few patrons have posted that they went to the Goody Two Shoes for a soft opening on July 17th.
“Went to the opening of Goody Two Shoes in Bayshore tonight the food was amazing we were a crowd and no one was disappointed,” wrote one poster on a Long Island Foodie group page on Facebook. “My favorite was the ribs and cheese steak tacos.”
Word is they will be opening officially on Thursday July 20th.
We will update this story as more information about the new spot becomes available.
Location: 42 East Main Street, Bay Shore.
